# What features are available in the Online Portal?

The AET Online Portal is your secure, all-in-one platform for managing your Self-Directed IRA (SDIRA). From opening accounts to submitting investment requests, the portal gives you full control over your retirement assets.

### 🔐 Secure and Convenient Access

- Log in to your account anytime
- Reset your password or retrieve your username
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security
- Automatic session timeouts for protection

### 🧾 Account Management

- Open a new account
- View transaction history and running ledger
- View and pay outstanding fees or invoices
- Link new payment methods
- Submit requests to update personal information

### 🔄 Transfers & Contributions

- Submit and track **Transfer-In** requests from another custodian
- Submit and track **Transfer-Out** requests\*\* to another custodian
- Contribute new funds to your IRA
- Transfer funds internally between AET accounts
- Submit **Distribution requests** for cash or in-kind assets

> ⚠️ **Note:** While you can request a Transfer-Out or Distribution that may result in your account being closed, **you cannot close your account directly through the Online Portal**. Please contact AET Support to complete the account closure process.

- Submit new Investment Requests (DOIs)
- View and maintain current asset values
- Submit and track Bill Pay requests for asset-related expenses

### 👥 Beneficiaries & Personal Info

- Add or update beneficiaries
