Unfortunately, AET's Self-Directed IRA (SDIRA) can only hold alternative assets, such as real estate, private placements, and precious metals. We do not allow accounts to hold publicly traded assets like stocks or bonds.
If a private investment held within your SDIRA goes public, you will need to transfer the asset to a custodian that permits publicly traded assets to be held. Contact AET for guidance on transferring such assets.
