At American Estate & Trust (AET), you have the flexibility to choose how your account fees are paid: Pay from Credit Card or Pay from Total Cash. If you'd like to update how your fees are paid, you can easily do so by following these steps in the AET Online Portal.
1. Log In to Your Online Portal
- Go to the AET website and log into your account using your username and password. If you haven’t set up your online portal access yet, follow the instructions to create an account or contact AET Support for help.
2. Navigate to Your Profile
- Once logged in, go to the Profile section of the portal. This is where you can manage personal account details and preferences.
3. Access Your Invoices
- Within the Profile section, find and select the Invoices tab. This will give you access to your fee payment settings.
4. Select Change under Payment Source
- Look for the Payment Source section, and click Change to update how your fees are paid.
5. Verify Your Account
- Ensure that the correct account is selected for payment. This step ensures that your fee payment is applied to the correct account.
6. Choose Your Preferred Payment Method
- You’ll have two options to choose from:
- Pay from Credit Card: Select this option if you want to pay your fees using a credit card.
- Pay from Total Cash: Choose this option if you prefer your fees to be deducted from your account balance.
7. Submit Your Change
- Once you’ve selected your preferred payment method, click Make Submit to confirm your choice.
8. Confirmation
- After submitting, your fee payment method will be updated, and you’ll be all set! Your fees will now be processed according to the new payment method.
