# Add or Change Beneficiaries

Updating your client's beneficiary is a highly sensitive action so be prepared to provide additional supporting documentation.

 

### Form Needed:

- [Beneficiary Form](https://www.iracentral.com/assets/pdf/Beneficiary_Change_Form_v2_08222019.pdf)

 

The process of updating an asset is pretty simple:

1. Have your client fill out the [Beneficiary Form](https://www.iracentral.com/assets/pdf/Beneficiary_Change_Form_v2_08222019.pdf)
2. [Upload the Form](https://5454409.hs-sites.com/knowledge/upload-a-document-to-your-clients-account) by selecting ***Type Job***
3. Upload a copy of the Beneficiary's photo Id
4. Done

You are done! Now all you have to do is wait. The Compliance Team might require some additional supporting documentation.
